"Life can only be understood backwards;
but it must be lived forwards"
-Soren Kierkegaard
We must go backward in order to move forward.
And we need not take that journey alone. We each need a guide, a trustworthy and compassionate other, who will help us navigate through the heartaches and the joys that we have known. When we courageously step back into our stories, we find that grief isn't an insurmountable wall, but rather a pathway towards deeper living, deeper loving, and deeper belonging.

Hello, my name is Erin McCaskill, and I am a licensed Social Worker and am certified in Narrative Focused Trauma Care from the Allender Center in Seattle. I live in (and LOVE) New York City. I am a wife, a mother of five, and an avid kickboxer. I love laughter, a good cup of Ethiopian coffee, and walking through Central Park in the evening. My passion is to come alongside those who want to experience the redemptive power of sharing their stories and healing the wounded parts of themselves.
